MOTHER INDIA SCHOOL

WORKSHOP DI FOTOGRAFIA CON SHOBHA

DAL 15 AL 19 SETTEMBRE 2012

PALERMO

www.motherindiaschool.it

MOTHER INDIA SCHOOL

Motherindia School again this year proposes a photographic workshop in Palermo. A fascinating city, contradictory, Palermo lives perpetually and obsessively, like many cities of the southern hemisphere, between two cultures in total contrast to each other. The theme on which we would like to invite students to express themselves photographically is that of legality and illegality in the antithesis. The beauty of the old town, despite its degradation, arouses strong emotions and net, the low lights of the streets where there is a generous humanity and suspicious, at the same time, often decomposed, are an invitation to the representation. In Palermo, a unique stage in the world, playing to large and small gestures a story that has ancient origins anywhere, that the daily oppression of one over the other.
