LA LUCE DI OGNI COSA
Vedere finalmente la luce intrinseca delle cose, guardare alla bellezza e scoprire come questa si manifesti in qualsiasi contesto; persino il degrado parla una lingua d’amore, ma bisogna essere pronti ad ascoltarla, ad accoglierla così come l’universo ce la dona e a celebrarla.
Io ho aperto gli occhi ed è stato come rinascere: per la prima volta ho visto ombra e luce, materia e umanità così vicine tra loro da non poterle separare, ho cercato linee reali e immaginarie e le ho viste intrecciarsi tra loro all’infinito; travi, cavi elettrici, fili della biancheria, braccia, gambe, occhi tutti uniti magicamente come in un sogno, gli uni agli altri in maniera impercettibile; ma questa non è magia ed io finalmente sono sveglia!

ELENA CORDONE
Nasce a Palermo il 23/02/1973, conseguita la laurea in Scienze Storiche presso l’Università di Palermo, si dedica alla sua attività imprenditoriale, accostandosi parallelamente alla fotografia amatoriale, soprattutto di strada. Successivamente consegue un diploma di tecnica fotografica presso l’accademia John Kaverdash di Milano.
Ha pubblicato sulla rivista sportiva “STANCE” e sull’ “L’ISOLA DEL TESORO”, edita dalla regione Sicilia. Ha partecipato a collettive a Palermo, ai Cantieri Culturali della Zisa, alla Libreria del Mare, al Caffè letterario da Lorenzo e al teatro Politeama Garibaldi. Nel 2015 espone a Palermo, a Villa Niscemi: “Paolino della Vucciria”.

THE LIGHT OF EVERYTHING
Finally see the light of the intrinsic things, look at the beauty and find out how this manifests itself in all contexts; even degradation speaks a language of love, but you have to be ready to listen, to accept it as the world gives it to us and to celebrate it.
I opened my eyes and it was like being born: for the first time I saw the shadow and light, matter and humanity are so close together that they can not be separated, I tried real and imaginary lines and I’ve seen intertwined infinity; beams, electrical cables, wires linen, arms, legs, eyes magically united as in a dream, to each other imperceptibly; but this is not magic and I’m finally awake!

ELENA CORDONE
Born in Palermo on 23/02/1973, obtained a degree in History from the University of Palermo, is dedicated to its business, approaching parallel to amateur photography, especially street. Later she obtained a bachelor’s photographic technique at the Academy John Kaverdash in Milan.
She published on the sports magazine “STANCE” and on ‘”L’ISOLA DEL TESORO”, published by the region of Sicily. She has participated in collective exhibitions in Palermo, at the “Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa” at the “Libreria del Mare”, at Literary Cafe Lorenzo and at the “Politeama Garibaldi Theatre”.
In 2015 she exhibited at Villa Niscemi “Paolino from Vucciria”.
